My name is Lala 

Creating a story-telling platform based on the forceful power of faith, hope, and love originates from my childhood where the gift of writing became the setting stone for my future. After a near fatal accident in 2019, I turned myself over to God and faith having landed what felt was six feet under. Grasping to the belief that the healing I was seeking all along required me to stop, listen, and trust myself, I began to recreate and re-revolutionize my ideologies, beliefs, purpose, and direction.

However, doing so first required the most daunting task of addressing depression, anxieties, fears, and regrets - "the clouds" or "the darkness" as I called it. I began to feel, acknowledge, speak of, and more importantly, honor those clouds with gratitude and look for the lessons in the cycles I was always trying, and failing, to break. As solitude, prayer, intense reflection, and creative expression began manifesting its positive energy into my daily life, I began to fear less of digging deep to the seeds of my emotions and was awakened to the holy grail of Life - my purpose.

I've had the honor and privilege of making connections, serving, and working alongside many throughout my personal, educational, professional, and military journeys. This is a tribute to those beacons of lights that have served as the guiding sources and lessons as I venture on and towards Home. Lady & The Arrow is the physical manifestation of a promise made to the child within to always honor and value the gift of dreams, imagination, courage, and faith.
